Neat to see the progress again. Have you ever considered coloring right from your pencils for a test? I much prefer your inks for sure but just an interesting approach that I'd wonder what it would be like.
ReplyDeleteI did it twice on a small scale: One of the Metamorpho covers, the one I'm using in the blog title panel. And several years before that I did something similar on the cover of Adventures of Superman #616.
ReplyDeleteAhh, I guess I never really paid attention to the Meta covers to see if the style was fully ink rendered or just pencils. Darker coloring and such can really effect what looks like ink and what is straight coloring. Have to go back and look at those images carefully now. Thanks for sharing.
